One of the foundations of a good liberal arts education is to experience the global diversity of human culture and traditions. Through the GIST Mobility Program, GIST students have an excellent opportunity to develop their global awareness, intercultural understanding, and stronger language skills by studying abroad for a semester in another country.
Besides experiencing new and challenging academic opportunities, studying abroad in another country enables students to immerse themselves in another culture and environment that will further enrich their understanding—and hopefully their appreciation—of the world and the global interactions that affect us all.
GIST has established exchange programs with prestigious institutions all over the world, and students should take advantage of these opportunities to enrich their lives. Therefore, GIST encourages qualified students to embark on an intellectually challenging and rewarding adventure to explore more of the world through the GIST Mobility Program.
