Study Program

Your choice of institution will be guided by your academic needs. Some institutional agreements are limited to students from a particular department or concentration. See the individual university profiles from our partner institutions to find out if your planned course of study is suitable. Consult your GIST course outline to determine what courses you need to complete while overseas and take appropriate electives when possible.

To determine if courses are suitable at your host institution, consult of our partner institutions' websites.

Approximate credit point translations are:

3 credits = 3 or 4 credits in the US system

3 credits = 5 ECTS in the European system

The dean of your department ultimately decides how many credits you will receive for each subject you take overseas based on a review and assesment of the course content.

Eligibility

As a GIST student you can study for one or two semesters at an overseas university and earn credit towards your degree through the GIST Student Mobility Program.

Eligibility Requirements :

Current enrollment in a degree program at GIST

Undergraduate students must have completed at least two semesters before applying

Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 in your current GIST courses

Meets the requirements of the host university
